JUNIOR BROTHER, No Country For Young Men Tour screen print

€30.00

Description:

Junior Brother - No Country For Young Men 2022 Tour poster

2-colour screen print

63.4 x 46cm

2022

Edition: 65

The artwork is based upon Junior Brother’s “No Country For Young Men” 7” record (Strange Brew). The young man character is following the similar character to a previous Junior Brother poster I did for a Coughlan’s, Cork gig poster from March 2020, here the scene is more sinister to echo the lyrics of “No Country for Young Men”. The main parts to the poster are the river, the boarded up house, the incoming storm, the dominant devil figure (representative of the goons/guards from the song), the poisoned water, the house-key and the typewriter with blank pages which are seen blowing in the wind. Display text is set in the beautiful blackletter Bradley DJR, with caption set in Birch. The screen print was handprinted at Cork Printmakers in an edition of 65 signed & numbered prints.
