Notes: A 3-colour screen print poster edition for Xylouris White’s concert with Katie Kim at Triskel Arts Centre, Cork on 28 October 2016, presented by Fractured Air & Plugd Records. The poster is a 3-colour screen print handprinted at Cork Printmakers on to archival white 300gm paper stock, made in an edition of 50 signed and numbered prints. I love to create my own texture for use in posters, here a number of ink brayer scans are made to convey the rocky landscape underground. I also love to hide elements within an image, here the cave image area is the map of Crete (tying back to George Xylouris and the cretan lute as well as his someplace).
